1999: SUN Group partners with InterBrew after the Russian Debt Default of 1998 to create SUN InterBrew.
 
1996: SUN F&C Asset Management is established in India in partnership with Foreign & Colonial. SUN Capital Partners, one of Russia’s first private equity funds, is founded.
 
1995: SUN Confectionery is established, and the breakfast cereals business is developed. The confectionery business is then sold to Nestlé and United Confectioners.
 
1994: SUN Brewing issues GDRs and is listed on the Luxembourg stock exchange.
 
1992-1993: SUN Brewing is established with 7 breweries in Perm, Kursk, Ivanovo, Saransk, Ekaterinburg, Vladimir and Ryazan.
