2008: SUN exits SUN Interbrew to InBev. The Russian business of the global corporation retains the name SUN InBev.
2007: Suntera partners with Indian Oil Company, and Oil India Limited to work together on exploration opportunities in West Africa.
2006: Suntera is founded as a joint venture between SUN and Itera to invest in oil and gas outside the Former Soviet Union.
SUN Mining is established to invest in gold and precious metals opportunities globally.
The SUN-Apollo India Real Estate Fund is established.

1999: SUN Group partners with InterBrew after the Russian Debt Default of 1998 to create SUN InterBrew.
1996: SUN F&C Asset Management is established in India in partnership with Foreign & Colonial. SUN Capital Partners, one of Russia’s first private equity funds, is founded.
1995: SUN Confectionery is established, and the breakfast cereals business is developed. The confectionery business is then sold to Nestlé and United Confectioners.
1994: SUN Brewing issues GDRs and is listed on the Luxembourg stock exchange.
